Your questions, our answers
To go skydiving, you just need to be in normal physical condition, no need to be a high-level athlete.
For adults under 65, a simple health self-assessment questionnaire must be completed.
For minors and participants over 65, a medical certificate stating no contraindication to skydiving, issued within the past year by a physician registered with the French Medical Council, is required.
And most importantly, you have to really want to do it!
You can book online at any time. For reservations using ANCV holiday vouchers, please call us during office hours, Wednesday through Sunday from 6:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at +262 692 42 10 42.
Jumps take place Wednesday through Sunday mornings starting at 6:30 a.m.
If you come to visit us, please respect the designated circulation areas within the center (do not cross the security barrier). Walking around inside the airport grounds is strictly prohibited. Since the area is governed by international regulations, you could receive a fine from the Border Police.
The easiest option is a tandem skydive with one of our instructors, who takes care of the entire jump from start to finish. They wear the parachute and handle all aspects of safety. You can also choose the HD Video & Photo option to keep an unforgettable memory of your jump. One of our videographers will film you before takeoff, in the aircraft, during freefall, and at landing, and within 7 days, you’ll receive a professionally edited video of your jump.
The introductory solo training jump requires more involvement and time.Unlike the few minutes of preparation for a tandem, the ground training lasts between 5 and 6 hours. The medical examination is also more thorough and demanding.
This option is ideal for those who may want to continue and practice regularly: the introductory jump is the first level of the PAC training (French equivalent of Accelerated Freefall (AFF) program). You will have your own parachute, which you will steer after opening all the way to landing, assisted by radio guidance.
For tandem jumps, the time given to you is your arrival time.
After completing the administrative formalities, your instructor will give you a short briefing: boarding, positioning in the aircraft, door exit, freefall (about 50 seconds), canopy flight, and landing. Your safety and that of your instructor are our top priorities, so we must comply with weather regulations (wind and cloud cover).
Air traffic may occasionally require adjustments to the planned schedule. Please come in good spirits and allow up to 3 hours on site.If the jump cannot take place, you will be able to reschedule based on available dates.
No problem. Many skydivers are in the same situation. We provide goggles or over-glasses.
You can jump in pants, shorts, or a tracksuit, with athletic shoes for greater comfort. It is not cold during the climb to 13,000 feet (the aircraft door remains closed). During freefall in winter, a simple sweatshirt is sufficient.
For safety reasons, please avoid shoes with hooks.
Absolutely!
We strongly recommend eating normally before your jump (breakfast for a morning jump, lunch for an afternoon jump).
Do not come on an empty stomach.
No scuba diving deeper than 33 feet (10m) the day before.
For safety reasons, the passenger weight limit is 90 kg (198 lbs). Tandem jumps are available from age 15 (parental consent signed by both parents is required). There is no upper age limit. For participants over 65, a doctor determines fitness for tandem or introductory PAC (French equivalent of AFF) jumps.
It is strictly prohibited (and pointless) to consume stimulants of any kind before the jump. The jump itself will be the best natural high.
You can complete your payment online at the time of booking. For payment by check, cash, or ANCV holiday vouchers, please contact us by phone at +262 692 42 10 42 or by email at contact.parabourbon@orange.fr.
